Helping Hands Fund

The Helping Hands fund allows social workers and personal health partners to immediately address barriers to care for their patients. Contributions to Helping Hands help support costs that aren’t covered by insurance, such as prescription copays, transportation needs or medical equipment that may prevent patients from healing, causing them to be readmitted to the hospital.

Gifts to this fund can have a significant local impact, no matter the size. A gift of $5 provides a meal in the hospital cafeteria or can purchase a bus pass for a patient needing to get to and from their appointment. $20 can help a family with prescription copays.
